In the event that your dog's swab is lost in transit, fails at our lab, or another event renders the swab invalid, we can issue a free replacement swab to try again.
Replacement swabs shipped outside of the US will be subject to duties and fees.
Check your email!
When a replacement swab is authorized, you'll be emailed instructions on how to order the free replacement.
Please keep an eye out for an email titled "An issue with your Embark test" which will be sent to the email address on your Embark account.
Click the button "Receive your free swab" in the email to provide your shipping address and we will sent the replacement to you.
If you do not see this email within 24 hours, please check your spam or junk folder and ensure that howdy@embarkvet.com is not on any blocklist.
Make sure to activate!
Please be sure to activate the new swab on your dog's profile!
This will ensure that our lab is able to begin processing the new swab right away once it arrives.
