What is Embark's Guess the Breed game?

Challenge yourself and your friends and family with this fun guessing game while you eagerly await your dog's results!

Guess the Breed is an exciting new addition to Embark’s platform that allows you to invite your friends and family to guess the potential breed composition of your dog while waiting for your genetic results (or after you've received your results).

After you've activated your dog's kit, you'll be able to play and share the game, accessible from the Summary page on your dog’s profile. Once results are available, you'll be able to see how your guesses compare to your dog's genetic breed makeup.

What if I don’t want people to be able to access my dog’s "Guess the Breed" game?

Breed results (and profile picture for best experience) need to be set to public for others to play the game. If you’d prefer not to share this experience, simply set these to private—see How do I change my dog's privacy settings?.

Will the guesses influence the actual test results?

No, the guesses submitted through the "Guess the Breed" feature are separate from the official genetic testing process. They are purely for entertainment and community engagement purposes.
