DNA and Age Tests
We only accept returns for products that are in good and unused condition, and that have been purchased within 60 days.
Individual tests within a Bundle or Litter Pack cannot be returned or exchanged unless one of the tests has failed and you are no longer interested in proceeding with testing.
Return for store credit is not available.
Once the applicable return period has passed, you can still send in your sample to receive the testing services provided with your product, but you cannot return a test for a refund.

What if my dog’s analysis fails and I am no longer interested in testing them?
In the case that your pup's swab has failed at analysis due to an insufficient amount of DNA, we will offer to send you a free replacement swab and run the second sample at no charge (see our Failed Sample Policy for more details). However, if you decline this option within 30 days, you are entitled to a refund of the amount you paid to us for testing of the sample, less shipping. -

We have experts on staff to help interpret results with you and refer your family to veterinary specialists in your local area.
Embark is devoted to providing dog lovers with the highest level of satisfaction in our testing services. Our lab is dedicated to testing for breed determination, health conditions, and unique traits—and we have invested a considerable amount of research into our Canine DNA test.
We stand behind the results of every single test and do not provide refunds for scientifically sound work.
Health & Traits Upgrades
Orders for Health & Trait Upgrades are final. Once you have placed your order for a Health & Traits upgrade, your order and the upgrade cannot be canceled and the results cannot be removed.
AnimalBiome Products (Gut and Oral health products and supplements)
We only accept returns for unopened products that are in good and unused condition, and that have been purchased within 60 days. Opened products will receive a 50% refund if shipped back within 30 days of the original date of purchase.
Return for store credit is not available.
