Does Embark test for allergies?

Will the test kit say what my dog is allergic to?

Embark is pleased to offer exclusive Allergy Risk Scores to pet parents! Customers will receive four unique risk scores showing their dog’s risk of developing different types of allergies: 

• Environmental/Seasonal allergies (also called atopy)
• Food allergies
• Contact allergies 
• Flea allergies

These test results don't pinpoint exactly what triggers your dog's allergies. Instead, they show which types of allergies your dog is more likely to develop.

Availability Note: We are pleased to offer Allergy Risk Scores in all Breed and Health and Purebred tests for no additional charge. If you purchased your test after September 2024 and don’t see these scores yet, don’t worry! We are slowly adding results to dogs’ profiles tested after this time.

Customers with a Breed ID kit can purchase Allergy Risk Scores for $29 (for kits purchased after September 2024). Allergy Risk Scores are not currently available for Breeder or Vet accounts.
