Genetic health results are not a diagnosis but can inform you of potential risks.
Embark can decode your dog's ancestry. However, in upgrading your kit, we can also give you scientifically validated genetic insights regarding your dog's health risks. We test for hundreds of genetic health conditions, many of which have been shown to have longer disease-free intervals if caught and managed early.
Remember that Embark tests your dog's DNA: We cannot evaluate your dog clinically. Our results should never be considered a clinical diagnosis. If your dog's test shows a specific mutation that infers an increased risk of a clinical diagnosis, we strongly encourage you to contact your veterinarian and share your dog's Veterinary Report.
