Can I give my pet more than one product at a time?
Yes! Our supplements are safe to be used together in the recommended daily amounts.
Can my pet continue taking the supplements while on medication?
Embark recommends speaking with your veterinarian before adding anything to your dog’s diet, including supplements. In rare cases, certain supplement ingredients can interact with medications or health conditions. Your veterinarian can help you determine which supplement(s) may be right for your dog.
What if my dog falls on the cusp of the weight range? Which dosage should I follow? For example, if they’re about 30lbs, do I give them 1 or 2 chews?
If your dog falls on the cusp of the recommended dosages, we recommend administering the lower number of daily chews.
How old should my dog be to take the supplements?
These supplements are designed for dogs one year of age and older.
Are these products safe for pregnant or nursing dogs?
These products have not been tested in pregnant or nursing dogs. Please consult your veterinarian if you are interested in using these supplements in your pregnant or lactating dog.
My dog doesn't want to eat the supplements—do you have any tips?
Try breaking the chews up and sprinkling them over food. Your dog may have an issue with the texture of the chews but enjoy them as a topper!
Is evening primrose safe for dogs?
Great question! While primrose (Primula species) is mildly toxic to dogs, evening primrose (Oenothera biennis) is an entirely unrelated plant and is perfectly safe. In fact, its oil can have beneficial effects!
