Genetic counseling provides you with information on the clinical risk for an individual dog based on their genotype and the known mode of inheritance and penetrance of the variant. Additionally, counseling can inform on the chance of genetically inherited diseases in offspring based on their parents' known genotypes.
How do I receive genetic counseling from Embark?
Please reach out to our Customer Support team with your questions. Either they or one of our Veterinary Geneticists can answer your questions and provide the help you need to care for your dog, or help you select an appropriate breeding pair based on genetic results.
Do I need to buy an Embark test to get genetic counseling?
