Because of the way genetic ancestry testing works, there is a distinction between genetic ancestry and breed purity.
The term purebred is not a scientific term (unlike the term species, for example), and purebred status is defined by registration/studbook. Essentially, the breed registry defines qualifications for registration.
Unfortunately we are unable to change or modify any dog's Embark breed results based on pedigrees, but please rest assured you that your dog's results do not invalidate your pedigree either.
