If you would like to like to learn your dog's coefficient of inbreeding, this is available after receiving results from a Breed + Health or Purebred DNA kit.
Breeder kits & accounts also have access to this feature.
Breed ID kits do not grant access to this feature, but you can always upgrade later if you decide down the line you would like to have this!
What is COI?
COI (Coefficient of Inbreeding) is a measure of how closely related your dog’s parents were.
The higher the inbreeding coefficient, the more closely related the parents. In general, higher inbreeding coefficients are associated with increased incidence of genetically inherited conditions, reduced fecundity, and reduced life span.
