What types of food are included in the food allergy category?

In our food allergy risk model, we included dogs with any reported type of food allergy. Ingredients these dogs were allergic to include (but are not limited to):

• Animal protein (poultry, egg, beef, pork, lamb, seafood, etc.)
• Grains and starches (wheat, corn, rice, potatoes, oats, barley, etc.)
• Legumes (soy, peas, lentils, chickpeas, etc.)
• Fruits and vegetables
